When I was 14, I was asked what I would want as my epitaph. The best I could come up with, after a few minutes of serious thought, was "It seemed like a good idea at the time." Twenty years later, that's still the best I can explain about why I do anything.
How very sad. It sounds like they (law enforcement) might be hot on the trail of the theives though - let's hope they are soon caught and brought to justice.
I HATE the butchered horse stories. For some reason they seem so much more awful than any of the rest of the horror stories that can happen with horses.
That is absolutely horrible. What kind of a person would do that?
ReplyDeleteThat's horrible. I can't even find the words to really say the level of disgust I have for someone who would do something like that.
ReplyDeleteIts sad, and really heartbreaking for the staff. But what can you do? Short of locking each horse away each night, and perhaps employing security?
ReplyDeleteIts a nightmare over here too, there`s always some ones horses or tack, or both being stolen.
I like the old school punishment for horse thieves...
