I got my Dixie-tattoo started today. He drew up some art...
Transferred it...Whanged away at me for an hour
And in another hour, the blackwork was done. I'll go back in two weeks for color. I'm absolutely thrilled with it :)
I can't wait to bore people with stories of the Great Dixie when I'm 80 and wrinkly and tattooed.
wow, cool! and owww! But your awesome mare is greatly immortalized. When you're 80 will she look like a mule? 8-)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I've been considering getting a horsey tattoo for a while now and I have to say I love yours! Can't wait to see the colour!
ReplyDeleteCool! I'm always amazed by the art tatoo artists can whip up. Pretty neat! Too bad I wasn't such a wimp - I would totally get a tatoo of something cool. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAre you going to color with her "real" coloration, or use tints that will match your hair? It looks awesome so far!
ReplyDeleteSweet! Broken record time: can't wait to see it finished!
ReplyDeleteLooking seriously cool. Look forward to seeing it with colour.
ReplyDeleteLooking good. Look forward to the colour.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful! Did you already have an idea of what you wanted or did the artist just come up with something?
ReplyDeleteThat does look great. I am looking forward to seeing pictures of it finished. The colour is going to look nice on top of the shading already done.
