  2. I thought eventers and foxhunters were crazy, but I was wrong. You endurance riders are certifiable.

    Now go HAVE FUN and KICK SOME BUTT!!!

  3. There's a new St. Patrick's Day tradition here - snow! In 2002 it snowed 29 inches in 24 hours and actually shut places down. Yesterday the forecast was for 1-3" and I measured 6" in the driveway.

    Off to plow some more! Enjoy your ride.

  8. We had snow in the night, but the 45 mph winds have dried it up. Oh joy. Not.

    Have fun and be safe, and tell us all about it!

  11. i'm trying hard not to think about what you're doing today.

    i'm failing - it's all i can think about. i even asked my man to take me out for a special evening for every endurance ride i miss. he said "that's every weekend!" i said, "ok, every endurance ride in the PNW ...or any that is described in any blog i read."

    ::blank stare::

  12. Oh....... f..., that's not a good forecast for a 50 mile ride. I was thinking about how your were doing before I even read this. Now I will be worrying instead of just thinking.

    I hope it all goes well and you have a blast with Dixie despite this forecast.
